Syria air defences shoot down spy drone near Aleppo

SANAA, Aug. 03 (YPA) – Syrian anti-aircraft missiles shot down a reconnaissance plane over the southern Aleppo countryside, Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen television network reported on Monday.

On July 22, Syrian air defenses responded to an Israeli aggression at Dabaa Military Airbase in Homs countryside coinciding with Israeli aircraft flying over the Beqaa valley in eastern Lebanon.

According to a Syrian military source, the Israeli air attack was carried out from north-east of the Lebanese capital Beirut, targeting some points in Homs countryside.

Also on July 19th, Syrian defenses responded to an Israeli air aggression in the skies of The Ambassador city in the southeastern Aleppo countryside.
