TAIZ, Aug. 01 (YPA) – Saudi-backed Islah Party mobilized on Sunday its gunmen to Al-Hujariya areas of Taiz province, according to local sources.
The sources confirmed that armed groups arrived in the areas of the Al-Shamaitin district, and created military barricades and fortifications in its mountainous heights overlooking the western coast.
The Islah leaders, including the so-called Ali Atef Abu Eisha, and the commander of the Transportation Brigade, Amjad Khaled, have worked to collect and distributing fighters from Al-Hajariyah areas and the coastal districts, to carry out military operations towards Mocha city and several Lahij province’s areas located on Bab al-Mandab.
Islah’s move came after the “Tahami Brigades” threatened to form a military council independent of the “Giant Brigades” loyal to Tarik Selah backed by UAE on the western coast.
