A picture of Celine ‘the rubble child’ enters global auction for 1 million dollars

GAZA, Jul. 31 (YPA) – A picture of Celine ‘The Rubble Child’ entered a Global Auction For 1 million dollars,  half of which will be allocated to UNICEF and the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund.

“I took some pictures of Celine – a two-year-old girl – on the first day of Eid al-Fitr during the conflict in Gaza last May. I was surprised that within hours the picture spread widely and gained attention all over the world,” said Shaaban Al-Sousi.
