Emir of al-Qaeda militants killed in Shabwa

SHABWA, Jul. 26 (YPA) – An emir of al-Qaeda organization was killed on Monday night in areas that separate Noaaman district of Bayda province and Bayhan district of Shabwa province, tribal sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that Othman al-Bayhani, an emir in al-Qaeda organization in Bayhan state, was killed with six of his guards during their fighting with coalition’s troops in strategic Aqbat al-Qanthaa.

The sources confirmed that the elements of the terrorist organization didn’t find the bodies of emir Othman al-Bayhani and his guards until this moment.
