Palestinians confront Zionist settlers in southern Nablus

NABLUS, Jul. 25 (YPA) – Palestinian citizens on Saturday confronted Zionist settlers who tried to prevent the completion of the construction of a house in the town of Qaryut, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

“Palestine Today” agency quoted an activist in the resistance to settlements, Bashar al-Qaryouti, as saying that a group of settlers stormed the southeastern region under the protection of the occupation forces, and tried to prevent the concreting of a roof of a house under construction.

“Hundreds of people flocked to repel the attack, forcing the occupation forces to expel the settlers, fearing for their safety.”

The people succeeded in completing the concreting of the house manually, after the ready-made concrete mixers left the place for fear of being detained, he added.
