Coalition abandons dozens of its wounded abroad untreated

SANAA, Jul. 24 (YPA) – Dozens of wounded sent by the Saudi-led coalition for treatment have been subjected to insults and threats of imprisonment in India.

In an interview with Islah Party-affiliated Balqis TV, the wounded complained they are suffering from the deterioration of their health and difficult financial situation, which amounted to the inability to obtain food and drink after they mortgaged their passports and everything they owned to restaurants and shops.

They indicated that they would be at any time subjected to imprisonment by the Indian police, due to the debts that they have accumulated for restaurants, housing owners and others.

They held the Saudi-backed Hadi government the responsible for the deterioration of the medical conditions due to the failure to fulfill its financial obligations towards them to conduct medical treatment.

The wounded pointed out that they are exposed to permanent disabilities for not performing surgeries, revealing the extent of corruption practiced by the Hadi government and its illegal institutions against those who pushed them to fight for its interests.
