SANAA, Jul. 24 (YPA) – Yemen’s Civil Defense Authority’s team, in cooperation with the Health Office in Sanaa rescued on Saturday a young man from a drowning accident in one of dams in Sanaa province.
The Director of the Public Health in the province, Dr. Khaled Al-Muntasir, said the 18-year-old was recovered from the water shortly while trying to swim in Shahak Dam in Al-Tayal district.
He stressed that a medical examination was conducted for him, and his health condition has been good.
Al-Muntasir indicated that the total of those who were rescued from drowning accidents in the waters of dams in the province, during the past three days, reached five people.
