Palestinian adviser shot dead by gunmen in West Bank

SANAA, Jul. 23 (YPA) – A legal adviser of Palestinian Authority was shot dead on Friday by unknown militants in the West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.

The General Political Commissioner, spokesman for the security services, Talal Dwaikat, said that unknown persons shot the legal advisor of military finance, Ikrima Muhanna.

Major General Dwaikat said in a telephone call with the Palestinian news agency “Wafa” that initial information indicated that unknown persons opened fire at Muhanna inside his house in Deir al-Ghosoun in Tulkarm, and fled.

Dweikat affirmed that the Military Prosecution and the competent authorities have launched an investigation to find out the circumstances of the crime,
and to detect the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
