Syrian civilian killed in mine explosion north of Hama

SANAA, Jul. 17 (YPA) – One civilian was killed in an explosion of a landmine left behind by al-Nusra terrorists in the town of Tal Mah in Hama northern countryside, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported, citing a security source in Hama.

According to SANA, a landmine left behind by the terrorist organization of al-Nusra went off on Friday evening in Tal-Mah town in the countryside of Mharda claiming the life of one civilian while he was grazing his sheep.

Prior to their collapse, takfiri groups planted mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at their places of deployment and hid them in villages, towns and agricultural land to cause as much damage as possible to people returning to their areas after being liberated from terrorism.
