Tunisia records 250 deaths cases of Corona during 24 hour

SANAA, Jul. 17 (YPA) – The Tunisian Ministry of Health stated on Friday that it had recorded 205 deaths from the Corona virus within 24 hours, in the largest number of daily deaths since the emergence of the epidemic.

The ministry has recorded 6,787 new cases of the virus, raising concerns about the country’s ability to fight the pandemic, with hospitals overwhelmed by intensive care units and a lack of oxygen.
The vaccination campaign suffers from very slow.
The World Health Organization says, “The daily death toll in Tunisia is the highest in Africa and the Arab countries.”
The total number of injuries jumped to about 530,000, while the number of deaths reached 17,200.
Tunisian health authorities describe the situation as catastrophic.
