Iraq: US logistics convoy targeted in Nasiriyah

SANAA, Jul. 16 (YPA) – Local news sources reported that a US coalition logistics convoy was targeted by a roadside bomb in Nasiriyah, southern Iraq on Thursday noon.

“An explosive device planted on the side of the road targeted, today, a logistics convoy belonging to the US-led coalition in Nasiriyah province,” Sumerian News re[prted, citing the sources.

The blast did not cause any casualties and no group has yet claimed responsibility.
