Coalition loses 16 senior military leaders in Marib

MARIB, Jul. 14 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi-led coalition recruits, including 12 senior military leaders, were killed and wounded in the battles escalating in Marib province.

According to sources, the coalition forces, supported by Al-Qaeda elements, waged an attack towards the Yemeni army’s sites of Shaqi, Mazrah, Al-Sarifa and Main, south of the province, but they failed making any progress.

In the same time, the forces of the army managed to confront another attack carried out by the coalition forces and Al-Qaeda towards the areas of “Al-Rabiah”, “Al-Sada”, “Al-Ajam”, “Baqtha” and “Al-Atef.
