HR Ministry calls for pressure on coalition to enter oil derivatives ships

SANAA, Jul. 14 (YPA) – The Ministry of Human Rights called on the United Nations and human rights organizations to put pressure on the coalition countries to lift the blockade and bring oil derivatives ships to the port of Hodeidah.

In a statement, the Ministry of Human Rights referred to the tragic situation experienced by the residents of Al-Hodeidah Governorate, as a result of the interruption of the electrical generation process due to the coalition’s detention of oil derivatives ships and preventing their access to the port.

The statement stressed that the lack of response by the United Nations and its organizations indicates beyond doubt the extent of the complicity towards the violations, killing, starvation and export of epidemics and diseases by the US-Saudi coalition of aggression against Yemenis.

The statement called on the international community and the Security Council to take a fair and just position and stop the brutality practiced by the coalition countries against the Yemeni people.

The Ministry of Human Rights held the coalition countries, the international community and the Security Council responsible for the repercussions of the continuation of the blockade and the detention of oil derivatives ships despite obtaining entry permits from the United Nations.
