SANAA, Jul. 14 (YPA) – The UAE officially opened on Wednesday its embassy in Tel Aviv, the capital of the Israeli occupation entity.
“The UAE and Israel are two innovative countries, and we can harness this creativity to work for a more prosperous and sustainable future for our countries and region,” said the Emirati ambassador to the occupation entity, Mohammed Al Khaja.
For his part, the new Israeli President, Isaac Herzog, described, in his opening speech, the embassy, as “an important milestone in the growing relations between our two countries.”
This step came about two weeks after the occupation entity opened an embassy and consulate in the UAE.
The opening of the embassy comes in the context of the acceleration of normalization steps with the occupation entity, at the expense of the issues of the Islamic nation and its sanctities in occupied Palestine.
