Light rain expected on Yemeni provinces within coming hours

SANAA, Jul. 10 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected light rainfall on most of Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center said in its weather forecast, the rains would be accompanied by thunderstorms on the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Al Dhalea, Rayma, Mahwait, Amran, Dhamar and Sanaa, Saada, Abyan, Shabwa, Aden, Lahj, Taiz and Hadramout.

It pointed out that the weather of the Socotra archipelago would be partly cloudy, with the southwesterly active winds reaching its speeds to 40 knots.

The center warned citizens in areas expected to rain to not be present in the valleys and streams of torrential rain during and after the rain.
