Power outage hits in Aden

ADEN, Jul. 10 (YPA) – Power outages have increased in all areas in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, sources reported on Friday

According to Aden electricity sources, the hours of power outages increased from four to five hours during the day, and the operating hours decreased to two hours.

The sources attributed the increase in hours of extinguishment to the reduction of energy companies purchased for generation due to the non-payment of their debt by the Hadi government.

The source pointed out that the energy companies purchased threatened to increase the hours of interruption to 6 hours if the debt is not paid before Eid al-Adha.
