SANAA, Jul. 8 (YPA) – Algerian presidency announced the formation of the new government headed by Ayman Abdel Rahman, which witnessed many changes, including the position of foreign minister.
The formation of the new government, according to Algerian television, witnessed the appointment of Ramtane Lamamra as Minister of Foreign Affairs, succeeding Sabri Qaddoum.
Finance Minister Ayman Abdel Rahman and Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab from the previous government retained their positions in the new government’s line-up.
The cabinet line-up included the appointment of Kamal Beljoud as Minister of the Interior, Abdel Rachid Tabeebi as Minister of Justice, Eid Dabiqa as Minister of Immigrants, Taqoui Ben Atou Zayan as Minister of Transportation, Youssef Belmahdi as Minister of Religious Affairs, Abdel Hakim Belaid as Minister of National Education, and Abdel Bagi Ben Zayan as Minister of Higher Education.
