UN supports coalition instead of alleviating citizens’ suffering: Hodeida governor

HODEIADA, Jul. 05 (YPA) – Hodeida governor, Mohammed Qohim, said on Monday that the UN has continued to support the Saudi-led coalition instead of alleviating the suffering of Hodeida citizens.

The governor told Al Masirah TV that the UN mission has not raised a single briefing on the violations of the coalition since its arrival in the province, pointing out that the UN team visits the sites of violations, but they did not issue any position.

Qohim confirmed that there is a complete absence of the international role related to monitoring the coalition forces’ violations in Hodeida.

He noted that the “detention of oil derivatives and its repercussions on the humanitarian level are being carried out under the eyes of the UN, which gives oil ships licenses.”
