Saudi-led coalition places mines, recruits children : Deputy Foreign Minister

SANAA, June 5 (YPA) – US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces have been placing mines across Yemen and recruited children since March 2015, deputy of foreign minister Hussein al-Ezzi wrote in his Twitter account on Monday.

“The coalition then blame the Yemeni army for doing so to mislead the public opinion, al-Ezzi said.

“The enemy has been planting mines on our soil, then accuse us to cover up their war crimes,” al-Ezzi said, adding that “the enemy has long known that we had long got rid of such arsenal 18 years ago, and they know that we do not essentially need to place such mines because we have been confronting the enemy’s military vehicles and tanks not their personnel ..because we are the one who moves on bare feet.”

Al-Ezzi said “all the world know that the coalition is the one kills Yemeni children and in the same time recruits the Yemeni children in blatant violations to all world conventions that set the legal age of recruitment.”
