Sanaa: finance ministry approves payment of half of salary to all state staff

SANAA, Jul. 03 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance Dr. Rashid Abu Lahum confirmed the Salvation Government approved on Friday the payment of half of salary to all employees of the state, including civilian and military and retirees.

The move comes in implementation of the directives of President of the Supreme Political Council in order to alleviate the burdens on the employees, according to a circular issued by the Ministry.

The Ministry directed the state administrative units to pay only to the employees present at work and eliminate names of those who are out of work and dual and fictitious employees.
