MARIB, Jul. 01 (YPA) – A pro-coalition media activist has revealed the presence of dozens of forcibly detained in Islah-run prison in Marib province.
“Abdullah al-Habaishi, a 63-year-old businessman who has lived in Mairb since 2000 and he is the owner of the Milan hotel. He has several other hotels and restaurants in Marib. Al-Habaishi, has been detained for five months in the political security prison without being charged or tried,” Ali al-Nasi said in a tweet.
“His health is deteriorating day by day amid the intransigence of the security authorities and their refusal to transfer him to the public prosecutor’s office,” he added.
Al-Nasi said there have been more than 40 cases of workshop owners and buffets detained for a year without charge or referral to the prosecution.
He said he would publish details of the 76 detainees forcibly detained at Marib’s political security prison and publish the organizations’ messages about them, which were ignored by the Islah Authority.
