STC militias threaten to use military option in Shabwa

SHABWA, Jun. 29 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias threatened to implement military and economic options against the Islah authorities in the oil province of Shabwa.

A head of the STC in the province, Ali Ahmed al-Jabwani, told the STC-run“Aden” TV channel, that the STC would move towards implementing political, military and economic options, if the sons of Shabwa were subjected to repression by Islah authorities.

Al-Jabwani indicated that the tribesmen flocked with various types of medium and heavy weapons after storming the platform of the mass festival that organized by the STC in the city of Abadan of Nisab district earlier this week.
