Lawyer killed, officer injured by unknown gunmen fires in Taiz

TAIZ, Jun. 28 (YPA) – A lawyer was killed and an officer injured last night by unknown gunmen fires in Taiz province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that the gunmen were riding a motorcycle when they opened fire at an officer in the political security called Abduh Mulhi, injuring him and killing the lawyer Hisham al-Abssi who was standing near the officer in al-Jomhouri neighborhood.

Areas under Islah control in Taiz witness a security chaos and continued violations against civilians.
