Saudi armored vehicles participate in storming of STC festival in Shabwa

SHABWA, Jun. 26 (YPA) – Saudi armored vehicles participated on Saturday in operation of storming the festival organized by the southern transitional council in Abdan city of Shabwa province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources confirmed that Islah militants commanded by Abdu Rabuh Lakaab stormed the festival on board of 22 armored and military vehicles including Saudi armored vehicles some of them carrying medium weapons.

The branch of the southern transitional in Shabwa considered in a statement that Islah turning for Nisab district to a military barracks is a dangerous precedent.

The sources pointed out that Islah storming for the stage of the ceremony, expressing their weakness in front of the participants in the peaceful event.
