Tehran rejects any interference in its nuclear programs

SANAA, Jun. 17 (YPA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry has expressed Tehran’s complete rejection of any interference in its nuclear and missile programs and its military and defense issues.

The Ministry said in a statement “the meeting, held by the Gulf Cooperation Council to discuss the Iranian nuclear program is rejected, and follows an unconstructive policy.”

The statement added: “Some Gulf countries claim to demand improving their relations with Iran, but, at the same time, they makes baseless accusations against Iran.”

The Ministry stressed that “the position of the Gulf Cooperation Council weakens the viewpoint calling for dialogue, turns the region into a warehouse for weapons and paves the way for foreign interventions.”

On Wednesday, the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council states stressed, in a joint statement after the meeting of the 148th session of the Council in Riyadh, the need to involve the Gulf states in the Vienna nuclear talks, saying “these nuclear talks must take into account the Iranian missile program.
