Escalating assassinations spark angry protests in al-Khoukha city

HODEIDA, Jun. 15 (YPA) – Dozens of people in city of al-Khoukha, south of -Hodeida province to protest against the arrests and assassinations by armed gangs affiliated with UAE-backed Tariq Saleh’s militia.

The protesters, in a rally, burned tires in the city’s streets in the city, expressing their anger and discontent with the terrorist acts committed by the security department, which is subject to the dictates by Tariq Saleh’s leaders.

They threatened to escalate their protests and carrying out their legitimate demands that call to arrest the killers and armed men inside the city.

During last days, several citizens were killed by armed elements belonging to Tariq militia-run security department in the city.
