Committee formed to prepare electronic commerce law: Minister

SANAA, Jun. 14 (YPA) – Minister of Industry and Trade Abdulwahab Yahya Al-Durra said on Monday that a committee has been formed to prepare the electronic commerce law to regulate this trade and preserve the rights of all parties.

While attending a training course in the International Computer Driving License for the Ministry’s cadres, Al-Durra indicated that work is underway to establish a unit for electronic commerce in the ministry.

The Minister stressed the need to take advantage of technological developments in improving the business services environment and providing services with international standards.

He confirmed the ministry’ serious orientation towards automating the work and services, launching the electronic window, and completing the networking between the ministry and its offices in the provinces.
