Beijing condemns G7 statement

SANAA, Jun. 14 (YPA) – China’s embassy in London on Monday condemned the joint statement issued by G7 leaders as a blatant interference in its country’s internal affairs and urged the group to stop tarnishing China’s image.

The Embassy added that the G7 should do more to strengthen international cooperation, rather than artificially causing confrontation and friction.

In a press statement at the G7 summit, President Joe Biden said “democratic” forces are competing with authoritarian states, not only with China, stressing that the United States is not seeking a conflict with them.
