Police dismantle IED in Bayda

BAYDA, Jun. 13 (YPA) – Police managed on Sunday to dismantle an improvised explosive device (IED) in al-Zahir district of Bayda province, a security official of the province said.

The official affirmed that the IED dismantled was planted by the criminal takfiri elements backed by the Saudi-led coalition in the main road to target the lives of citizens and disturb security and stability in the province.

The investigations are underway to reach the criminal elements to bring them to justice, he added.
