SANAA, Jun. 10 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center warned on Thursday residents of deserts and coastal areas from hot weather and called on them to avoid direct exposure to the blazing sunlight during the afternoon hours.
In the weather forecast, the center warned seagoers and fishermen in Socotra archipelago and east of Gulf of Aden of sea turbulence and high waves, in addition to warning citizens in desert areas from dust and raised sand due to surface wind activity.
The center also alerted civilians in areas where it is expected to rain to not be in the streams and corridors of torrential rain.
