SANAA, Jun. 08 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected on Tuesday dispersed rainfall on most of Yemeni provinces within the next 24 hours.
In its weather forecast, the center affirmed that the weather in the mountainous heights will be clear to partly cloudy, and accompanied with scattered rain on parts of the western highlands of the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Sanaa, Mahwait, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Lahij, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout.
The center pointed out that the weather in the coastal areas would be clear to partly cloudy, with winds its speed is reaching 25 knots.
The weather of the Socotra archipelago will be clear to partly cloudy, and the winds are southwesterly active, with speeds of up to 40 knots, working to disturb the sea and high waves.
The center warned citizens of the extremely hot weather, calling on residents of desert areas to keep away from the heat-wave, as well as in areas where rain is expected to avoid being in the water channels of torrential rain.
