SANAA, June 7 (YPA) – Two trains collided in southern Pakistan, killing at least 30 passengers, the Associated Press agency reported on Monday, citing police and emergency officials.
The agency said that the Milat Express derailed and that the Syed Express train subsequently collided with it.
The collision occurred in the Jotki district of Pakistan’s Sindh province, when the first train collided with the second train, which derailed, according to “Sputnik”.
Local authorities confirmed that at least 30 passengers were killed in the collision while many people are under the rubble, and that the number is expected to increase.
