Powerful explosion rocks Aden

ADEN, Jun.06 (YPA) – A powerful explosion rocked the southern port city of Aden on Saturday evening, local sources said.

According to the local sources the explosion took place in Sheikh Othman district.

No further details were given about the explosion.

Eelier on Saturday, fierce clashes broke out among the UAE-backed southern transitional council (STC)’s militias.

The sources mentioned that the clashes erupted among elements of the STC and other gunmen due to a dispute over a piece of land in Hashid neighborhood of al-Mansoura district.

Aden and other southern provinces have been witnessing assassinations and security disorder since United Arab Emirates occupation forces took control over the city.
