Honduras to open embassy in al-Quds at the end of this month

SANAA, Jun.03 (YPA) – The state of Honduras to open its embassy in the occupied city of Jerusalem at the end of this month, the Hebrew media revealed on Wednesday.

The Hebrew newspaper, Israel Hayom , reported today that the Latin American country of Honduras will open its embassy in al-Quds (Jerusalem), at the end of June, to be the fourth embassy to open in Jerusalem

The newspaper reported that Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez will arrive on an official visit to Israel after three weeks, during which he will inaugurate his country’s embassy in occupied al-Quds , after pledging to do so before the AIPAC 2019 committee.

The Hebrew newspaper indicated that Honduras will be the fourth country after the United States, Guatemala and Kosovo, and that the President of Honduras had previously agreed with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, that in exchange for the opening of an Israeli embassy in Taguslepa, the capital of Honduras, the Latin country will open its embassy in the city of al-Quds (Jerusalem).
