Dozens of pro-coalition militants killed,10 captured in west coast

HODEIDAH, June 2 (YPA)- Dozens of militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition forces were killed and ten captured in a unique attack carried out on Friday by the Yemeni army in the Yemeni western coast, a source at Defense Ministry told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack targeted a battalion of the so-called the fifth Amaliqa Brigade loyal to the coalition in al-Faza area, southern Tuhaita district of Hodaidah province, resulting in killing dozens of the battalion’s members, capturing ten others, and seizing its equipment, according to the source.

Most of the battalion members are from southern provinces, the source said.

He added that 75 dead and wounded of the battalion arrived at Mocha hospital in Taiz province, while dozens of dead bodies are still in the attack area.
