FM: Coalition continues collective punishment policy against Yemenis

SANAA, May 31 (YPA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, said on Monday that the Saudi-led coalition countries continue in the policy of collective punishment against Yemeni people by impeding the arrival of fuel ships to Hodeida port.

This came during his meeting in Sanaa with Deputy Head of the United Nations Mission to support Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA), Daniela Kroslak

In the meeting, Sharaf reiterated the position of the National Salvation Government rejecting the policy of part solutions in Yemen.

The Foreign Minister affirmed that the path towards achieving peace is known, and it requires taking courageous human steps to build confidence, the forefront is allowing the entry of oil derivatives ships, reopening Sanaa International Airport, and paying salaries of all state employee.

For her part, Kroslak stated that the mission’s keenness on the continuation of the work of the Redeployment Coordination Committee to ensure the implementation of what was agreed upon in the Stockholm agreement.
