Gold prices record new rise in Yemeni markets

SANAA, May 26 (YPA) – The prices of buying and selling gold on Wednesday returned to rise, for the second time within a week, in the Yemeni goldsmithing markets.

The last update of prices in the goldsmith shops in the capital Sanaa, according to the “Yemen Economist” website, is as to follow: –

– Price of one gram of Gold 24 karat: Purchase = 36,000 Yemeni Riyal (YER), Selling = 38,000 YER

– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 32,500 YER, Sale = 34,600 YER.

– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 256,000 YER, Sale = 260,000 YER.
