Nasrallah threatens Israel: Attacking al-Quds will lead to a regional war
SANAA, May 26 (YPA) – Secretary-General of Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah warned Israel of a regional war if it harms al-Quds (Jerusalem).
“You should know that attacking Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque is different from any other attack you are carrying out,” Nasrallah said in a speech on the occasion of 21st Liberation Anniversary of Southern Lebanon on Tuesday.
He added: “The Israelis must understand that carrying attacks on to the holy sites will not stand at the border of Gaza’s resistance.”
He continued: The new equation after the recent confrontation is based on the fact that the attack on al- Quds and Al-Aqsa is matched by an armed confrontation.
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah congratulated historic victory of Palestinian Resistance Movement in Gaza against the Zionists’ crimes in the occupied lands and territories.
He felicitated all leaders of the resistance movement in Palestine on the glorious victory of Palestinian Resistance Movement against Zionist regime’s crimes and atrocities committed in the occupied lands and territories and Al-Quds.
He noted that “the people of Gaza and their resistance were in a position of defence and prepared to make sacrifices for al-Quds and the Al – Aqsa Mosque.”
Nasrallah explained that the battle had shown something the Zionists must understand and to “reconsider their estimates.”
He pointed out that “the historical development in the Sword of al-Quds battle that Gaza entered to protect al-Quds and its people, and not only to protect Gaza”.
