Saudi regime summons STC to Riyadh

SANAA, May 25 (YPA) – The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) was summoned on by the Saudi regime to present to the Saudi capital Riyadh.

A leader in the STC militias affirmed the readiness of the STC’s delegation to go to “Riyadh” and discuss the reasons for differences with the Saudi-backed Hadi government.

Jamal bin Otaif, a member of the so-called “National Assembly of the STC, said on Facebook that “the STC negotiating delegation would go to Riyadh at the invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

The relationship between the STC and Hadi’s government is witnessing tension after the STC rejected most of the presidential decisions, especially those related to the judiciary and the Shura Council.
