SHABWA, May 23 (YPA) – The so-called “special forces” affiliated with Islah Party loyal to Saudi-led coalition continued on Sunday to impose a suffocating siege on Laqmoush tribes area in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen, for the fourth day in row.
Tribal sources in the province reported that the Islah militants surrounded Haban tribes in Habban district, and established a number of military points in the vicinity of the tribe.
The Islah militants restricted the movement of sons of the Laqamoush tribes from and to their villages, the sources explained.
Violent clashes erupted last April between the Islah militants and the Laqamoush tribe loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council.
