Ministry of Industry discusses implementing Revolution Leader’s directives in economic, industrial fields

SANAA, May 23 (YPA) – Ministry of Industry and Trade discussed on Sunday the mechanisms for implementing the directives included in the Ramadan lectures of the Leader of Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, on economic aspects.

This came during a meeting held at the ministry and chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade Abdulwahab Al-Durra.

At the meeting, the Minister of Industry and Trade stressed the importance of developing plans and programs to implement the directives regarding the ministry’s tasks and activities.

Al-Durra urged for concerted efforts by government agencies and the private sector to develop local production, achieve balance and stabilize markets, protect the local product, encourage investors to invest in the industrial and agricultural sectors and provide them with facilities.

It was emphasized during the meeting to develop a matrix of executive procedures for the directives of the Revolution Leader to make a qualitative leap in the economic field.

The meeting approved the establishment of a unit in the Ministry to develop the informational aspects and follow up the networking between the Ministry’s sectors and the concerned bodies to achieve integration in performance.
