STC calls on combat units to readiness to fight against its opponents in Aden

ADEN, May 22 (YPA) – Several leaders of the so-called the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) called on military units to raise the whole combat readiness to fight battles with its opponents in Aden city, south of Yemen.

This came during a meeting held by the STC head, Aidroos Al-Zubaidi, who called on the people of the southern governorates to cooperate with the STC’s forces to face any challenges in the coming period.

Meanwhile, a number of observers said the call reveals the preparations of the STC’s militants to wage a new battle with “Hadi” forces, and it may be preceded by a mass arrest campaign of those affiliated with the Islah party.
