Two al-Qaeda leaders killed in traffic accident in Hadi-controlled territories

ABYAN, May 20 (YPA) – Two al-Qaeda leaders in Yemen were killed in a traffic accident in areas controlled by Hadi’s forces in  Yemen.

This was reported by Yemen News portal, based on a source in Hadi government

“One of the dead was identified as  Nasser Saeed al-Kazmi, the intelligence official and al-Qaeda security official in Abyan and Shabwa provinces,” a Hadi government source said.

The second was also identified  Saleh Ahmed Laqra al- Kazmi, the military commander of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, he said.

The source did not say where the al-Qaeda leaders were killed.

ISIS and al-Qaeda operatives are deployed in areas controlled by Hadi’s forces and are fighting against Yemeni army forces.
