Pro-UAE military commander wounded in IED blast in Aden

ADEN, May 08 (YPA) – A military leader in forces affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) was wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off targeting his car in the city of Aden, southern Yemen, local sources reported.

The sources said that an explosive device was detonated from a distance while the convoy of the deputy commander of the so-called “security belt force” in Aden, Abdullah Abu Arab, was passing by Al-Arish road, confirming that he was injured in the explosion.

It should be noted that the city of Aden is witnessing security chaos and liquidations among the leaders working with the Saudi-led coalition.
