BAGHDAD, May 01 (YPA) – At least four members of the Iraqi army were killed when an improvised explosive device exploded north of Baghdad, the Security Media Cell reported on Saturday.
“Security forces are conducting a search for terrorist elements who detonated an explosive device in Al-Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad, on a hummer vehicle belonging to the Regiment 3, 59th Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army,” the cell said in a statement.
The statement added that the explosion “led to the martyrdom of four fighters, as an initial toll,” pointing out that “the details will be published later.”
