SANAA, April 22 (YPA) – 98 Zionist settlers stormed on Thursday the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
The Islamic Endowments in occupied Al-Quds stated, in a brief statement, that 63 settlers, and 35 students of Jewish institutes and universities, stormed Al-Aqsa courtyards and wandered in the eastern region of it.
The city of Al-Quds in general, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular, have been witnessing since the beginning of the current month of Ramadan, skirmishes between Palestinian youths and the enemy police due to recent attempts to prevent annual Ramadan gatherings and activities in the city center.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to continuous incursions by settlers and the occupation police, and attempts to prevent its reconstruction, as well as the imposition of strict restrictions on its visitors, and other practices.
On a daily basis, Al-Aqsa Mosque (except for Friday and Saturday) witnesses incursions and violations by settlers and the occupation police, and on two shifts in the morning and evening.
