MARIB, April 17 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition directed on Saturday its recruits to launch a large-scale military operation against Abaida tribes in al-Arqeen area, southeast of the city of Marib.
According to sources, the coalition forces directed Brigadier General Khalid Nasser Yalam Al-Alawi Al-Radfani, the commander of the 107 Infantry Brigade of the coalition forces, in charge of protecting the oil fields in Safer, to launch a military operation targeting the Abaida tribes in the area.
This comes 6 days after the Abaida tribes cut off the road linking the city of Marib and the oil fields in Safer, after the Islah militants kidnapped one of the sons the area.
