SANAA, April 15 (YPA) – Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, under a heavy security protection from the Zionist enemy police on Thursday.
According to the Islamic Waqf Service, 185 settlers stormed the courtyards of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and carried out provocative tours inside.
“One of the intruders was Rabbi Yehuda Glick, who is known for his calls for intensified incursions into the mosque,” the Islamic Waqf Service said.
The police provided full protection to the settlers, from their entry through the “Door of the Moroccans”, to their wandering in al-Aqsa courtyards, to their exit from the “bab al-silsila”.
The Israeli occupation police continue to restrict Palestinian access to Al-Aqsa, and their personal cards are held at its external gates.
Except Friday and Saturday, al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to incursions by settlers and Jewish groups during the morning and evening periods, amid tight protection from the special occupation police.
