18 recruits, officers loyal to coalition die due to Coronavirus in Marib

MARIB, April 06 (YPA) – At least 18 recruits and officers loyal to Saudi-led coalition  have died inside the government compound in Marib, following the massive spread of the “Covid-19” .

Local sources in Marib city told the Yemen Press Agency that 18  coalition’s soldiers and officers  died after  contracting the “Covid-19” virus.

The Covid-19 has  spread significantly in the province, especially in al-Rawdha and Al-Agriculture neighborhoods south of the government compound.

Ali bin Mohsen Salah, an officer of the General Staff of Hadi’s forces, revealed in a Facebook post on Sunday that the Coronavirus is spreading widely in Marib province, and that people are falling in the streets of the city.

Salah explained that the Hadi government authorities in Marib and Taiz provinces do not care about the lives of the people dead due to the “Covei-19”.
