Shabwa governor holds coalition responsible for Balhaf port’s safety

SHABWA, April 05 (YPA) – Shabwa governor, Ahmed Al-Hassan Al-Amir, held on Monday the Saudi-led coalition and its tools full responsible for the safety of the port and its various escorts.

In a statement, the governor warned the coalition countries against targeting and destroying the Balhaf gas facility and the LNG export port in the province.

Al-Amir affirmed that the artillery attack that targeted the LNG liquefaction plant the Sunday evening has revealed a Saudi-Emirati plot to destroy the gas facility, which cost Yemen billions of dollars.

He explained that the presence of Emirati and American military bases in the port of Balhaf in Radoum district of Shabwa for three years, is part of the conspiracy scheme of the countries of the invasion and occupation in the southern provinces, with the aim of disrupting and destroying the Yemeni strategic ports.

Al-Amir called on the free people and tribes of the province to thwart the occupation’s scheme and expelling the occupation forces and their mercenaries.
